Patriot winning VCM BISS July 2008

Patriot is first and foremost a wonderful companion to his family.  His spends his days keeping close watch over his 3 human kids.  Aside from his family duties he is his owner Marco's personal hunting companion.  In his few short years he has logged many hours hunting Pheasant & Grouse in the woods & fields of Michigan.  At 6mths old, Patriot earned his NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize II with a score of 94.  Just a few short months later Patriot finished his Junior Hunter title.  He is currently training for Senior & Master Hunter.  At 15mths old he made his show ring debut, with zero "ring" training. Guided by his handler Sue Branch (Stonepointe Vizslas). His 1st weekend he walked away with both of his majors.   Just a few short weeks later Patriot finished his Championship. His 2nd weekend in the ring as a Champion he won Best in Specialty (BISS) at the Vizsla Club of Michigan Specialty (pictured above)  With a very limited appearances in the show ring Patriot already has numerous Best of Breed wins and Group placements. He ended 2008 ranked in the Top 15 for All Breed Points (Group placements).

Patriot is currently focusing his efforts in the field.  Watch for him to make his Field Trial Debut in the future as well as competing in more Hunt Tests.
